[Buying and restoring](<#buying>)[Play in your browser]() ![Painted illustration of the painter looking into an open red toolbox and picking out a hammer.]() ## Buying and restoring The full toolbox is one purchase, made by a grown-up behind the parent gate: €5.99 in the eurozone, local prices in each store, no subscription. Each platform sells it separately. How do I buy the full toolbox? Tap For grown-ups at the end of the toolbar, solve the sum, and use the buy button in the grown-ups' area. On iPhone and iPad it goes through the App Store, on Android through Google Play, and in a web browser through a Stripe payment page. How do I restore it on iPhone or iPad? Sign in with the same Apple ID that bought it, open the grown-ups' area and tap Restore purchase. With Family Sharing on, others in your family group get it too. How do I restore it on Android? Use the same Google account that bought it, open the grown-ups' area and tap Restore purchase. Google Play doesn't share in-app purchases through Family Library. I bought it in the browser. How do I get it on another computer or tablet? Your receipt e-mail from the payment has a restore code \(it looks like ED-XXXX-XXXX\). Open the grown-ups' area in the browser, choose Restore and type the code, or paste the whole line from the e-mail. It works in the browser on any device. I paid but the new tools haven't appeared. The grown-ups' area says the payment is being processed while it waits, and checks again when the game is back in view. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, use the restore code from your receipt. A restore right after paying can take about a minute to find the payment. Does a purchase in one place count everywhere? No. The App Store, Google Play and the browser each sell it separately; an unlock in one doesn't carry over to the others. Can I choose how the new tools arrive? Yes: everything now, wrapped as a present your child opens on the paper, or one new thing a day. You can switch to everything now at any time. We have DEPLAY MAX. On DEPLAY Kids tablets, the Android app asks DEPLAY MAX on the tablet whether your subscription covers it. If it does, the full toolbox is there without a separate purchase. ## Devices and offline Which devices does it run on? iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later, Android 7.0 or later, and web browsers from 2022 or later with WebGL 2 graphics. If a device can't run it, the game shows a friendly screen explaining why. Does it work without Wi-Fi? The apps work fully offline. The browser version needs an internet connection to load. Where are the drawings kept? On the device. In the apps they're files in the app's own storage; in a browser they're stored in that browser. They don't move between devices. The browser game says the device can't run it. It needs 3D graphics \(WebGL 2\) and a browser from 2022 or later. Updating the browser, or the device's software, usually fixes it. Can two children play on one tablet? Yes. Several fingers can draw at once, all with the tool that's picked. ## Languages, sound and saving pictures How do I change the language? Open the grown-ups' area and pick one of the 28 languages. The drawing stays where it was. How do I turn the sound off? With the Sound switch in the grown-ups' area. In the iPhone and iPad app the sound follows the volume buttons, not the silent switch. Can the music go off but the sound effects stay? Yes. Music can be switched off separately from the sound effects, and the game remembers the choice. How do I save a picture? Tap Save picture on the Paper panel by the canvas. In the apps a grown-up solves the parent gate first, then chooses where it goes \(Photos, Files and so on\). In a browser it downloads as a JPG. How big is a saved picture? Up to 3,200 pixels on its long side \(2,400 on smaller phones\), redrawn at full size rather than a screenshot, so it prints well. Can tilting the device be switched off? Yes, with Tilt and shake in the grown-ups' area, on devices that have motion sensors. ## Safety and school use [Safety pages]()[For teachers]()[Privacy]() My child mixed bleach and vinegar in the app. Should I worry? On screen it's a safety lesson: the room fills with chlorine gas and the game teaches opening the window or getting into fresh air. Talk it through, and see our page on never mixing bleach and vinegar for what to do if it happens for real. Does the app have ads or collect data? No ads, no analytics, no accounts, and no personal data collected. See our privacy page. Can we use it in class? Yes. The browser version needs no install and no student accounts, and works on a whiteboard. Our teacher pages have lesson ideas. Do the experiment pages tell children to do dangerous things?
